A CHRISTMAS TREE TO HELP MAKE YOUR DREAMS COMES TRUE
A wish tree is a modern day idea, where you hang written wish tags onto the tree branches in the hope that they will be granted. The idea originates from the Celtic fairy tree - or what is known in Ireland as a rag tree - which was also used to places wishes on. Traditionally people would tear off a piece of cloth from their garments and make a wish as it was tied to the tree.
If you would like to bring your very own wish tree into being, place a bunch of twigs (preferably hazel, for it's magical properties of wisdom and divination) in a vase or jug filled with water to represent that element. You could write your wish on a glittery piece of paper of create drawings of your hearts desire. Attach it to the tree and say out loud:
"Magic abounds, my wish is done, may it come true with harm none'.
